Aly Cook is one of New Zealand's most successful self-managed independent artists. Aly has built a worldwide network of devoted fans. Performing in Norway, USA, UK and Europe, as well as at home in New Zealand, where she is based.

Her NZ accolades include having been a nominee for APRA New Zealand Country Song of the Year.

Aly's first solo release I Wonder enjoyed commercial airplay in NZ and was nominated New Zealand APRA Country Song of the Year 2005 & as finalist in the MLT Songwriting Awards 2007 with "Grow". Aly's 2nd single is Country Storm co-written on line with David Erik from Cincinatti, recorded in Nashville with the video filmed in Nashville, Hollywood and rural New Zealand and is currently playlisted on CMC Country Music Channel in Australia and has enjoyed airplay around the globe.

At 48 years of age, she is not your stereotypical debut emerging artist. Aly has raised the funds for her debut album using crowd funding and recorded a superb album Brand New Day. Aly has had a long & varied career in the entertainment industry back to the 80s, touring in administration for the likes of Michael Edgley in Australia and several other promoters in New Zealand and Australia, where she attained skills to allow her to promote her own music now & be highly successfully self-managed & published.

Also, working as a backing vocalist for artists like Sharon O'Neill and Rick Bryant, to name a few.

July/August 2012 Aly launches Country Storm. Co-written with David Erik and recorded in Nashville with producer Chip Martin, the track is a women self-empowerment theme. The video is filmed and integrates footage, shot in Nashville UK and Christchurch New Zealand and is directed and produced by Paul Sparkes.
