Basketball New Zealand in conjunction with Porirua Basketball Association is pleased to host the 2012 FIBA Oceania U19 Championship for Men and Women.

This basketball event is a three game qualifying series between the New Zealand men’s team the Junior Tall Blacks and the Australian Emus and the New Zealand women’s team the Junior Tall Ferns and the Australian Gems. The teams are competing for gold and qualifying for at the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championships.

New Zealand has never won this Championship before. Can both teams achieve this feat for the first time in Porirua?

This is a general admission event.

Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 9:00pm
Sat, Sun and Public holidays: 8:00am - 7:00pm
