Critically acclaimed harpist Carolyn Mills presents a varied programme of harp music, including melodies heard in the exhibition Unveiled.

The programme features lively Celtic tunes, Susann McDonald’s Haiku for Harp, and Kenneth Young's Autumn Arabesque – a magical piece evocative of a fairy tale, or perhaps a fairy-tale wedding.

Three short and exciting pieces by the French–American composer Carlos Salzedo round off the programme.

Carolyn Mills
Carolyn Mills has been the principal harpist for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra since 1989. She has also played with the Dallas and Houston Symphonies, and was principal harpist of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Mineria in Mexico City. Her three recordings on CD have all received wide critical acclaim, with Flight shortlisted for Best Classical Album in the 2011 Vodafone Music Awards.
