All proceeds from the concert will go to The Cameron Wilson Trust, providing financial assistance to help meet the day to day expenses of individual NZ families with children suffering from cancer. About the Voice Club Choir:
Founded in February 2009, The Voice Club Choir is an all-comers (ie. no auditions - all singers are welcome, regardless of previous vocal experience) singing community that meets weekly during term times on Monday evenings in Ponsonby.

Currently there are more than 80 members. Our repertoire consists of popular songs from the last 50 years or so with the occasional bit of gospel or folk thrown in for good measure.

Voice Club Choir's Musical Director is David Tillinghast (BA Hons Performing Arts, UK). Formerly a full-time performing arts and popular music lecturer in London for seven years, David has been a freelance singing teacher since 1989. Five of his former students have had UK top 20 hits. He has worked in the entertainment industries in the UK, the USA and NZ as a voice-over artist, session musician, vocal arranger, musical director, dialogue coach and choral director. David was also a long-time member of a successful touring band, headlining in venues throughout Europe and North America.
