Sleeping Dogs hit the road with partners in crime House of Mountain, Hera and Happiness Stan. Special guest artists will also be joining them on occasion along the way. Watch out or they will come to a town near you.

Sleeping Dogs are a group of four misfits with eclectic musical backgrounds. The present line up was conceived in 2009, in the land of the long white cloud. For an aspiring super-group with a big sound, you can’t begin from a more humble or out of the way place.

In April and May of 2010 they all travelled to Modern World studios in the UK, thwarting the Icelandic volcano’s attempts to shut Europe down, to complete their first album. Sleeping Dogs are Thomas Reid; a sincerely inspired and seriously talented songwriter, pianist and vocalist, Rocky; a melodic and soulful bass player and arranger, Rick Harvie; an innovative, experimental and multi-talented drummer and video director, and Ace Palenski; a skilled and emotionally charged guitarist. Their songs have been described as “unavoidable, deep and unapologetic”. Their sound and style has been likened to Muse and Queen, described as “extravagant, big, epic and over-the-top, with long, long instrumental parts”.

House of Mountain is a four-piece groove rock ensemble... and the next big thing to explode out of Christchurch. The band is the brainchild of Ben Campbell, whose musical career began with the highly successful pop-rock group Zed, which released two multi-platinum albums and toured and recorded around the world, supporting artists such as Robbie Williams, Coldplay and Bon Jovi. Ben also started his own music, promo and management label, Elements Music Ltd, in 2002, which launched and produced the award-winning band Atlas in 2005.

During his Atlas days, Ben met sex/rock-god-in-the-making, Moses Robbins, guitarist, songwriter and performer extraordinaire. After years of development, and about 200 songs up his sleeve, now, at the ripe old age of 24, Moses is finally ready to come out and expose his unique energy and sound upon the world. Hera - Rattle My Bones:
Icelandic-born, New Zealand-based singer-songwriter Hera, has just released a new album entitled Rattle My Bones. Recorded in both earthquake-torn Christchurch, New Zealand and Reykjavik, Iceland, which was recently rocked by volcanoes, it's not hard to see where the inspiration for the album name came from. This album is Hera's fifth studio album, 8th overall excluding compilations and collaborations.

Hera has toured the globe for many years playing and touring in Italy, Holland, Greenland, England, Scotland, Wales, Denmark, the United states at the SXSW music festival, the famous Glastonbury festival in the UK, and of course Iceland and New Zealand to name a few. She has a gold record in Iceland, and was named 'best female artist' at the Icelandic music awards in 2003, and her song 'Makebelieve' was a finalist in the USA songwriting competition, and went on to become the second most played song on Iceland radio that year. Happiness Stan is the man of the caramel voice, with a sound so universal and at the same time, so incredibly unique. Working within the traditional country and blues genre, as a singer and guitarist, Stan is able to well and truly seduce his audience with his voice and words. Heavily influenced by literature and philosophy, Stan is a thoughtful and provocative songwriter, his melodies stick and his lyrics haunt.
