The effectiveness and role of vitamin C in health and wellbeing is controversial, with media, the medical community, CAM practitioners and the public often in disagreement.

There is agreement however, that Vitamin C is a water soluble antioxidant needed for normal growth and repair of tissues throughout the body. The body is unable to make Vitamin C on its own, nor can it be stored. It is therefore important to include plenty of vitamin C-containing foods in your daily diet.

Recent reports have now controversially claimed that the antioxidant can even extend life, prevent disease, and save lives.

Join Nutrition and Naturopathy Head of Faculty Phil Dowling (MA - Live Food Nutrition), Naturopathic Practitioner (BA (Econ) BHSc Nat Dip Herb Dip) and industry guests to learn more about vitamins and the Vitamin C controversy at this no-cost open evening.
