Calling all oboe, cor anglais, oboe d'amore, bassoon and contrabassoon players! The second New Zealand Double Reed Day is almost here!

- Chamber music for participants with professional coaches.
- Back-to-basics masterclasses for adult amateurs and students.
- Accompanied advanced masterclasses for oboe and bassoon.
- Q & A panel with musicians and teachers.
- Oboe and bassoon reed classes.
- Student performances.
- A recital by NZSO and APO musicians.
- Big double reed band.
- Vendors with double reed music and gear.
- An instrument repair specialist to look over your instrument.

The New Zealand Double Reed Society (NZDRS) is the fastest growing and largest branch of the Australasian Double Reed Society (ADRS). The ADRS is a non-profit organisation which promotes and enhances knowledge of double reed instruments (oboe and bassoon family). The ADRS encourages performance, education and interaction between double reed players of all standards, and maintains close links with similar societies throughout the world.

Fees include a year's membership, including a print journal and discounts to future events.
