Learn Mandarin Chinese for Travellers with our upcoming language courses in downtown Auckland.

Enjoy free cultural events, experienced teachers and fun classes that teach you all about the language and culture of the Chinese while preparing you for your new adventure abroad!

Travellers courses are designed for those with no previous experience with the language and are offered a range of times so you can choose the one that best suits your timetable! We pride ourselves on giving you the best learning experience possible in addition to extra opportunities to practice outside the classroom. Classes are also kept small at 8 people or less to maximise the amount of time that you get to speak and spend with our expert teachers.

Each course covers 10 of the most important topics for you as a traveller:

1. Introducing yourself;
2. Reservations/meetings;
3. Transportation;
4. Directions;
5. At the airport;
6. Dining out;
7. At the hotel;
8. Shopping;
9. Sightseeing;
10. Small talk.

In addition, at the end of your course we host a special travellers' night with traditional food and drink, insider tips, and lots of great language practice!

Don't forget that with any purchase of a Chat Languages course you receive a $50 voucher at STA travel!

Please check our other events for different languages, times and levels as well as 5-week Mandarin courses for beginners.
