Te Papa

Chris Bourke journeys into the ‘lost dawn’ of New Zealand popular music – the mid-20th century, when the dance halls of the nation changed dramatically. The waltz gave way to swing, and then jive evolved into rock 'n' roll.

The Marae, Level 4. Free entry.
