Maris O’Rourke, a New Zealander, has been writing poetry for three years. She has published in Takahē, Poetry New Zealand, Bravado, Shot Glass Journal (USA), International Literary Quarterly (UK) and Side Stream. She was the first featured poet in the NZSA’s (New Zealand Society of Authors) ‘a fine line’. In 2010 she was runner-up in the Auckland NZSA Sonnet competition and awarded an NZSA Mentorship. In 2011 she was placed Second in the Robert Burns Poetry Competition; awarded Highly Commended in the Caselberg Trust International Poetry Prize; and placed First in the South Island Writers Association (SIWA) National Competition.

Anna Kaye is a singer-songwriter, poet and writer. She made her debut EP, Little Bonfire with the Engineers in 2010 and is currently working on a full length album. She is a regular performer on the open mic music and poetry scene here in NZ and in Australia. Her poetry has been published in FourW Australia, Side Stream, Livelines and Enamel among other places and she has released three self-published zines of poetry. She is a fan of Natalie Merchant, Sarah Blasko and Bjork.

‘Veil and the Bedlambs’ is the performance persona of transdisciplinary artist Celine Sumic. With a background in architecture and Japanese language Celine draws on a dancer’s sensibility to foreground the inherent relationship of internal and external environment. Carolina Moon is a vocalist and improviser across the genres of medieval and traditional world music, jazz, and free voice work. Her recently released CD Mother Tongue (Ode 2011) resonates from a distant past through a collection of medieval Sephardic melodies (Judeo/Spanish) traditionally passed from mother to daughter.
