Don’t ask how we keep doing it. We’re not exactly sure ourselves. But this week we’ve got another dope international for your ears down at Nark.

High Rises is the nu disco/indie dance side project of the one and only Blaze Tripp who’s renowned for some of Australia’s best bass music and is here to Rock Be Club under than name on Friday night (https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=106343806138348). However with his High Rises moniker he focuses on the more relaxed synth heavy side of things producing dope sounds akin to that of Cassius, Louis La Roche & Daft Punk.

In support of our cross-Tasman headliner we’ve got a ridiculously massive line up containing (wait for it)… Breakfast Club, Architect DJs, and our residents Daniel Farley and The Lost Boys.

Then in preparation for the second instalment of Clocked this coming Saturday (https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=187451504656475), the Back Bar is loaded up with local favourites who love underground/experimental hip hop and the all together less danceable side of things (i.e. drinking music), featuring Monty & the Face, Sheahan (of All Black Everything) and residents Mad World and Jake & Josh.

Since it’s holidays and the youngn’s are around the back bar will also be R20 this week (apologies for forgetting it was holiday season and not bringing this back last week!).

So add all that up and your line up is mind-blowingly large;

High Rises (Aus)
Breakfast Club
Architect DJs
Monty & the Face (George Fm)
Sheahan (All Black Everything)
Farley
Lost Boys
Mad World
Jake & Josh.

Crazy. Perfect way to farewell your last break of the year and to prepare for the upcoming massive weekend. Town’s going to be jam packed with tourists but rest assured Nark won’t be pandering to tourists like a lot of venues around town, we will be looking after our locals and rejecting the dodgy old guys in assorted rugby jerseys.
