Yessir we’re back. Clocked 2.0.

The launch night saw hundreds and hundreds of people vote with their feet in favour of something a bit different in AKL. I think we also set a record for latest closing time at T&S, with the J Dilla request hour continuing well after 7am….

2.0 will be no different, showcasing overlooked classics and cutting-edge new shit to dance/drink to. Be it The Weeknd, Pete Rock, Ghostpoet, Cassie, Hudson Mohawke, Blu, ASAP Rocky, Kingdom or Ghosttown DJs- if it’s good and what you wish you heard in clubs then here you just might.

Two rooms (one with chilled hip hop etc, one with shit you can step to) sporting a massive line up of talent well versed in the classic, fresh or obscure beats- including two playing live off samplers/MPCs/drum machines:

Geesus Host (UK) - a producer/DJ that now calls NZ & Bfm home
DJ Paydirt (the ARC) - 1/3 of Auckland’s dopest dudes
Chaos In the CBD (Younguns) - local boys signed to the French label
J Brown- Producer/DJ from Kolab and J Brown & The Mic Smith
Lowquid
Forest Spirits (live)
Tommy Flowers
Flex
P for Purps
W1se1
Moppy (live)
Mad World

Hip hop/future garage/UK funky/2 step/future house/post dubstep/juke/grime/ghetto-funk//experimental electronica/ambient/downtempo/bass music and more. So if you’re into any of that, or just bored with the other options town serves up and are interested in trying something fresh and dope, there’s only one place for you to be on the 10th of September.

Thanks to Hype Distribution!
