Registration: Please pay your team fee at the registration evening at The Projection Room, 4 Thames St, 6pm till late, on Sunday 28th August. This is an opportunity to meet your fellow competitors, have a few drinks and tell a few lies.

Race day: Races are held on the boardercross course at the top of the High Flyer lift. The course will be open from 11am to 2pm. If the weather is bad there is a contingency day on Tuesday 30th August. Every effort will be made to complete the race on Monday.

Prize giving: Projection Room from 5pm with food and after party to follow.

Race Format: There are 2 timed runs down the boardercross course, essentially a banked slalom. Each team member must record at least one time meaning the fastest time of the two contributes to the team’s time. If for some reason a team member does not make it down the course over two runs then they will be awarded the slowest time of the day.

Prizes: There will be prizes for fastest team, fastest ski male, fastest ski woman, fastest snowboard male, fastest snowboard female. The emphasis however is on fun, and there will be a host of spot prizes.

Lift Passes: Can be purchased from Turoa on the day at 50% off for all competitors.

Equipment rental: Ski Shed (06 3859173), TCB (06 3858433), Snowcentre (06 3859100) and SLR (06 3858797). You can also rent directly off Turoa ski field on the mountain.

The emphasis of this competition is on fun. This is the third year and we plan to build on the success from previous years. Every effort will be made to ensure that there will be discounts for rental gear but this will be determined by participation numbers. We hope that you and your fellow staff can make it for what will become an important date in the hospitality calendar.
