The Peta Si’ulepa Band is proudly hosted by the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club.

This line-up features a selection of Auckland’s leading Pacific musicians, recording artists and composers who have joined forces to perform at the upcoming Inaugural Samoa International Jazz & Blues Festival in Samoa - 12th to 14th November 2010.

Lance Su’a has been a professional musician since the age of 14. His 30-year music career to date has seen him travel the world playing music at many different festivals and concerts with top local and international artists including the NZ Symphony Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra.

Karika Turua is a groove styled, earthy bassist with a pulse that echoes the soul of the Islands. His solid playing and ability to compliment songs in an array of musical styles has seen him perform with some of NZ's finest singers and musicians.

Ernie Semu’s talent gamut includes musician, performer, producer, TV writer. Ernie has performed for 30 years as a vocalist, pianist as well as accompanying major NZ artists.

Lance Bentley is a popular drummer who has been in the music industry for many years playing the Auckland club scenes, hotels, bars, cafes, restaurants. He is known for an appealing repertoire of grooves that he aptly applies to jazz, rhythm & blues, soul, funk.

Peta Si’ulepa is vocally known for rich and colourful timbre that is offset by a rhythmic approach to interpretations of phrasing and timing in song. Peta has been a regular performer on the Auckland Jazz & Blues scene since returning to NZ in the late 1990s.

Maggie Gould has the soulful, bluesy and jazzy tones of one of New Zealand’s graceful vocal talents. Stylistically inspired by the great Anita O’Day, Maggie has worked at the Monterey Jazz Festival, The Rubens Hotel at the Palace in London and with Kiwi greats ‐ Rodger Fox Big Band.
