Akil The MC (Jurassic 5):
This MC is no stranger to the hip hop culture. With J5 on separation Akil The MC reaches out on a self mission located on Myspace tour dates with Crown City Rockers. AKIL THE MC was an integral part of Jurassic 5 when they were together and has taken what he learnt and has gone solo. AKIL is out to Sound Check, Akils solo album, on the world stage once again with a high spirited well rounded relative musical output that the hip hop world has so longed for since the split up of Jurassic 5.

Currently Akil is in Europe playing sold out shows in England, Ireland, Norway and Scotland and is about to continue his world tour and bring his show to the Australian stage. The shows are receiving rave reviews and this has increased the anticipation for his arrival down under. With three studio albums under his belt and a laundry list of collaborations with artists such as J-Zone, Jedi Mind Tricks and MF Doom, Louis Logic uses a unique singer/songwriter approach to crafting rap records. He and long time producer/partner in crime, J.J. Brown, have grown to infamy as the kings of drinking anthems and quirky adult love songs. Louis musical exploits have taken him on extensive tours throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia with artists like J-Zone, RA the Rugged Man, Akil the MC (Jurassic 5), El Da Sensai and Pigeon John. Louis continues to tour worldwide as a solo artist and plans to release a new Louis Logic album and a Spork Kills full length album in 2010.

Louis Logic Bio:
With three studio albums under his belt (Sin-A-Matic, The Odd Couple “Alcohol/Ism” and Misery Loves Comedy) and a laundry list of collaborations with artists such as J-Zone, Jedi Mind Tricks and MF Doom, Louis Logic uses a unique singer/songwriter approach to crafting rap records. He and long time producer/partner in crime, J.J. Brown, have grown to infamy as the kings of drinking anthems and quirky adult love songs.

Louis’ musical exploits have taken him on extensive tours throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia with artists like J-Zone, RA the Rugged Man, Akil the MC (Jurassic 5), El Da Sensai and Pigeon John. In November of 2005, Louis and J.J. Brown made an official group album and signed a deal with the oldest name in the independent rap business, Fat Beats. The long awaited sophomore album Misery Loves Comedy, led by the single “The Great Divide” b/w “Captain Lou El Wino” and “Bully Remix” dropped in June of 2006 on Fat Beats Records. Since that time, Louis released his first live band project in February of 2009 with Danish production duo Beatman & Rockin’ under the group name, Spork Kills. The Spork Kills “Beaches Love Us” EP garnered fanfare from the biggest blogs including 2dopeboyz, Nah Right and Hip Hop Dx as well as Louis’ first ever MTV airplay for the video “Night of the Hip ‘N Dead.”

The band also secured a corporate sponsorship from Liquid Lightning Energy Drink and rotation in retail stores US nationwide on their in store video systems. Louis continues to tour worldwide as a solo artist and plans to release a new Louis Logic album and a Spork Kills full length album in 2010.

These cats are hip hop superstars , if you like your hip hop then get along to Revolver.
