Magical story teller and puppeteer, Kaitrin McMullan, returns to Hokitika and to the Driftwood & Sand festival for more stories and more puppet workshops. The stories are for everyone! Any age will love them and it's free. The workshops are for children and there's a small charge ($10). Booking is advised with Jane Neale on 03 755 8069 or jane.bill1@xtra.co.nz.
The programme is:
Thursday 28 Jan: Puppet making for kids age 5-8 - 1.30-3.30pm
(children under 7 bring a caregiver)
Story telling 3.30-4.15pm approx.
Friday 29 Jan: Puppet making for kids age 8-12 - 1.30-3.30pm
Story telling 3.30-4.15pm approx
Sunday 31 Jan: Story telling 1.15-2.00pm
Kaitrin will be linking both puppet making and story telling to the sea as part of Seaweek, the theme of which this year is 'Fish for the Future', so there will be lots of fishy stories encouraging a love for and respect for the ocean and its wildlife.
