Mo-tley Crue go Mo-hunting . . .

Come and join the fun at this year's inaugural Mo-Hunt, organised by the gang from Mo-tley Crue as a way to come together and celebrate another successful Movember campaign.

Being held on Sunday 30 November, teams of four will compete in a scavenger hunt throughout the Auckland CBD.

However this is no ordinary scavenger hunt. Starting from the C&B English Pub in Newmarket, teams will be sent to find hidden symbols and icons relating to the mighty moustache.

The Mo-tley Crue (www.mo-tleycrue.com/mo-hunt) website has created a community of Movember supporters and organises social and networking events in an aim to raise money for the Movember charities.

Team organiser, Aaron McConchie explained the Mo-tley Crue’s enthusiasm for the Mo-Hunt and raising money for the cause “Movember is a time when the only thing we need to take seriously is men’s health. The lads are growing ridiculous mo’s the girls are kindly putting up with them so we figured we’ll organise a fun event to round out what is always an enjoyable way to raise money for this worthy cause”.

The Event will run from 12.00pm Sunday 30 Movember from the C&B English Pub in Newmarket with teams finishing back at the Pub for prize giving and debrief. Teams of four are required and registration is via the mo-tleycrue.com website. There is a $20 registration fee to enter which is a direct donation to the Movember charities.

Movember 2009 is raising money for the NZ Cancer Society to help with their research into Prostate and Testicular Cancer, as well as Out of the Blue, a programme to help Men suffering from depression.
